CHARACTER LIFE SKILLS ON DISPLAY
Congratulations to all the winners and other participants……and congratulations for displaying qualities of CHARACTER and GOOD CITIZENSHIP. Evidence of character was seen in the congratulatory embrace of Samantha Brimhall and Marisa
Boccabela following the sudden-victory playoff…..and the multiple handshakes of congratulations extended to Dave Torres.
Congratulations to all the players who came up short of their expectations but did not give up. They demonstrated qualities of SELF CONTROL and PERSERVERANCE. Players stayed around not just for the awards and see how they did compared with other players……but more importantly to visit and share their experiences with new and old friends regardless of their scores.
Thank you to those who put on hold other activities in their lives so they could be with us this weekend and share their experiences. Thank you for those to traveled great distances to participate. Your presence was greatly appreciated.
Thank you for honoring the traditions of this great game by playing by the rules, demonstrating respect and extending courtesies to fellow competitors, family and other support groups…..in addition to posting a score.
It was particularly nice to have received great accolades from the staff of both golf facilities on the courtesies and respect demonstrated by our young players.
Congratulations to those who were recipients of the MVP Player Support Awards. Your contributions did not go unnoticed. Without you, all this could not happen. On behalf of the leadership of the IRGF Players Club……AAU Golf……..a BIG THANKS!!!
